Introduce your young athletes to ski racing in a fun, controlled environment with the Vernon Ski Club in this fun recreational race. This event is open to 7-11 year olds capable of confidently skiing blue runs and who are interested in seeing what the world of racing is all about.

BBQ lunch, race, swag and awards are all included!

SCHEDULE
8am: Coaches meeting at VSC coaches room (upstairs Club Cabin). Racer's bibs will be handed out then.
​
8:30am: Racer registration and waivers for non-VSC Racers in the VSC lunch room
9am: Groups meet beside VSC Club Cabin, go to Cloud Nine for optional course inspection
9:55am: Forerunners on course

10am: First racer
​
12:30pm: BBQ lunch at the top of Cloud Nine - bathrooms are at the bottom of Silver Woods Chair
​
2:30pm: Awards in the village in front of EVOLVE
COMPETITOR INFORMATION
ELIGIBILITY
7-11 year olds capable of confidently skiing blue runs. Non-club affiliated racers will be assigned a representative. One day BC Alpine membership included in race cost.
COST
$20 per non-VSC athlete. Clubs billed directly OR cash, cheque or e-transfer to payvsc@gmail.com

*Cost includes racing, BBQ lunch,
t-shirt/swag bag and awards. Additional lunches for sale for $5/meal, cash only.

RULES
BC Alpine rules apply to be found at bcalpine.com. Helmets are mandatory. No attachments (GoPro or similar) on top of helmet allowed. No speed suits allowed. Five second penalty on each missed gate. Ski patrol is the 1st responder to a racer with injuries.
