Time & Location
Originally formed as the folk duo of uncle nephew team Lowell Friesen & Lancen Harms, the project quickly grew to include bassist Bruce Flett of Peril Ravine fame and drummer Brodie Muskett, one half of the infamous Bad Mantis. The band organically built on the tasty combination of familial harmonies, sprightly acoustic interplay and poetic lyrical license of the founding fathers and electrified and intensified the final product. With influences spanning from indie obscurities to modern folk, rock n roll to indie soul, the highlights always fall on the instinctual and natural harmonies of the two lead singers. There are hints of heaviness, layers of mythos and a shimmering haze of something psychedelic, but having fun is obviously what they do best and live shows are punctuated with laughter and a good natured self deprecation.
