MZTF have been active as recording and performing artists in the Windsor/Detroit area since 2016, where they've become a local favourite of the independent music scene.
Upon the release of their debut EP. “Intentions,” in 2019, their talents have garnered the attention of the CBC, CIDR-FM, and CJAM radio, with veteran music critic Dan MacDonald calling them “Hypnotic to listen to, hypnotic to watch [...] Exactly what I loved about Radiohead, Portishead, and Massive Attack ... A great combination of emotion, and feeling-- where the vocal sound is as important as the words, as the beats, as the guitar...”
